That's what I wanted you to do, lol. Bb3# is mate. Same if you do Rc1. I think that you could have delayed the checkmate at most four moves, but the mate was completely unavoidable.

Rb2 would have delayed the checkmate by one turn. I would have done a1+ Rb1 Qxb1#.
